Based near Skipton, North Yorkshire BD20 8AN [Emma-Jayne Browne]

I am a qualified and registered CAT Psychotherapist. I initially trainied as a play therapist and I have over 20 years expereince working within the NHS offering psychological assessments and therpaeutic interventions to parents & their infants/children.

In my private practice I offer CAT with individual adults and couples experiencing a wide range of difficulties impacting on their relationships or emotional wellbeing.

I also offer parent coaching that aims to strengthen the parent-child relationship and improve outcomes for the child's mental health and family functioning.

I have particular expereince in working with the impact of developmental trauma and a history of early disrupted attachments.  In addition to my CAT training, I am particularly informed by relational neurobiology, attachment theory, somatic approaches and Internal family Systems theory (IFS).

I can offer both brief and longer term therapy. Both online and in-person sessions.

From January 2024 I will have incresed availability for private clients during the day Monday-Friday and also offer some evening and weekend sessions.
