Hello, my name is Jackie Withers. I am a UKCP Registered CAT Psychotherapist, ACAT Accredited Supervisor and HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical & Forensic). I am also trained as an Organisational Psychologist. I have over 35 years working across a range of mental health services. I began my career as a nurse, training as both a General and Mental Health Nurse but then retrained as a Clinical Psychologist. I gained my first Consultant Psychologist post 30 years ago. I am now semi-retired but have a small private practice.I offer private appointments on a Tuesday.

I offer a professional and confidential service drawing on my breadth of clinical experience working with adults with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, work related stress, addiction problems and eating disorders.A diagnosis is not important to access CAT. CAT aims to develop a shared understanding of presenting difficulties. Therapy is tailored to the individual and I draw on my breadth of experience and training as a Psychologist and Psychotherapist.
