Prior to my CAT therapy qualification, I worked as a Mental Health Nurse for 30 years within the NHS in a variety of settings. My work within the NHS has given me in-depth knowledge of mental illness. I have a special interest in trauma, particularly childhood trauma, which is why I decided to train as a CAT practitioner. I am also an EMDR practitioner and receive regular supervision for both therapies.
