Leicester [Anne Benson]

I am a CAT Psychotherapist, practising CAT since 2007. Originally a mental health nurse I have worked in and with the NHS for over 30 years. I have worked in a range of settings, primary and acute care, psyhcological therapy teams and higher education. 

I work collaboratively with people to help them develop a greater understanding of the difficulties they are facing and to develop new ways of relating to themselves and the world around them. I have experience of working with people struggling with a range of issues including; anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss, childhood trauma or neglect.

In addition to working as a psychotherapist I also work for an organisation providing consultancy, coaching, leadership and team development, research and evaluation.

I am available on Monday evenings and daytime. I am happy to see people virtually.
