I am an experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist, who has worked in various mental health settings for over twenty years. I am currently the Psychology and Therapy Lead in a large NHS Perinatal service. I am registered with HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist, ACAT as a CAT Practitioner and am fully insured.

I have experience working with a wide range of clinical presentations in people aged 16+. These include trauma, anxiety, low mood, psychosis and unusual experiences, eating disorders and broader difficulties which show up in our important relationships. I am particularly passionate about supporting women/birthing people as they adjust to parenthood and develop a relationship with their baby. CAT can offer a powerful way of understanding all of these experiences.

Alongside CAT, I have undertaken additional training in a range of therapies and interventions and will incorporate these into our work as needed. Approaches include Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and attachment-based work such as Circle of Security Parenting. Using these within a CAT framework means we can work in a flexible and creative way.

I am warm and down to earth and work hard to create a space that is compassionate, accepting and nurturing.

I currently offer online sessions on Monday (daytime) and Thursday (daytime) and can offer both short and long term therapy and personal reformulations.
