Liverpool and Sefton [Jayne Merrin]

I am a clinical psychologist, cognitive analytical therapist and accredited CAT supervisor. 

I currently work in my own independent practice (established 7 years ago) in the North West, predominantly covering Liverpool and Sefton.  I offer both short and long term therapy, personal reformulations and clinical supervision. I have previously worked for over 20 years in the NHS in both adult and children's trusts and, as a result, I have direct experience of using CAT to support both young people and adults alike. 

Clinically,  I have experience of working with a wide range of presenting issues including relationship issues, loss and bereavement, stress and anxiety (including work based stress), low mood and depression, trauma and abuse. I am also interested in using CAT with people working in the caring and mental health professions for both personal support and professional development.

I am a experienced therapist, with knowledge, training and experience of utilising a wide range of psychological approaches an addition to CAT, including systemic approaches and EMDR. 

I am a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and I am registered as a practitioner psychologist with the health and care professions council (HCPC). 

Location : I currently have clinic space available in Crosby, Maghull and Ainsdale.

Working Hours : Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9-5pm
