Web-site restrictions

ACAT will be moving to a new web site on Thursday, 10th April.

In preparation, from Friday, 4th April this old web site will not let members renew their membership, and any other changes members make, e.g. their personal details, will get ‘lost in the move’.

Urgent membership renewals should instead be done by contacting Alison Marfell.

online only [Alison Jenaway]

I am retired from working as a Consultant psychiatrist in psychotherapy in the NHS (still registered with the GMC but have given up my licence to practice medicine).  I now have a small private practice doing CAT online.  I was the psychiatrist attached to the Cambridge University Counselling Service for around 10 years, up to 2017.  I am a CAT psychotherapist and supervisor and I see people privately for a range of psychological issues.  I am happy to see young people of 18 years and above, and also parents.  I frequently use Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) within my CAT work, this is a therapy which helps people to process traumatic experiences from their past.  I am still part of Collaborate, a small group of CAT therapists whose aim is to promote, and provide, high quality CAT therapy and training in the Cambridge area, see our website www.collaborate.me.uk.  I charge £110 per session or £80 per session for those who are students or unemployed.
