Web-site restrictions

ACAT will be moving to a new web site on Thursday, 10th April.

In preparation, from Friday, 4th April this old web site will not let members renew their membership, and any other changes members make, e.g. their personal details, will get ‘lost in the move’.

Urgent membership renewals should instead be done by contacting Alison Marfell.

Online and in person Central London, by request [Michelle Hamill]

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and an accredited CAT practitioner and supervisor, with over 20 years' experience working in mental health in the NHS across the adult life span, including later life. I specialize in psychological interventions for a wide range of diverse emotional, physical, and relationship concerns including those related to life transitions. I also have specialist skills working with organic conditions, including dementia and working with family carers.

I find great fulfilment in witnessing the changes and progress that are possible within a safe, genuine, and supportive therapeutic environment where people can explore and work through the concerns that have brought them to therapy. In addition to CAT, I am trained in a range of other evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment therapy, EMDR and Compassion and Narrative therapies.

Professional Bodies:  I am accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.
