Web-site restrictions

ACAT will be moving to a new web site on Thursday, 10th April.

In preparation, from Friday, 4th April this old web site will not let members renew their membership, and any other changes members make, e.g. their personal details, will get ‘lost in the move’.

Urgent membership renewals should instead be done by contacting Alison Marfell.

St Pauls, Central London EC1A [Harriet Heal]

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and I have been using CAT for over 20 years.

My London clinic is in an old schoolhouse, near St Pauls (EC1A).  This a very accessible yet peaceful loaction, close to City Thameslink, Blackfriars and Farringdon stations, and easily reachable via central, district and Circle lines.  I am in London Monday - Wednesday and I also have clinics in Sevenoaks in Kent on Thursdays and Fridays.

Over the course of a long career, I have worked and trained in many approaches including mindfulness, cognitive approaches, and most recently I've completed a four year training in Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, and I continue to use aspects of these to enhance and inform my work.  But at the heart of my approach I use a relational frame that is central to CAT.   Whatever the issue that we want to work on, psychological therapy is ultimately about exploring our relationship with ourselves, and undertanding the evolution and development of these relational patterns and how they play out, inside us and outside us in relationships with other people and the world can be transformative.  I find CAT offers a truly collaborative, respectful and pragmatic framework, to explore your difficulties and find space for change, whether behavioural, emotional or both.

I am also happy to offer therapy to CAT therapists in training.

I am registered with all the major health insurers and I also accept self funding clients.  I'm not currently offering evening appointments.
