The Oxford CAT Practitioner Course, based in Psychological Serivces at the Warneford Hospital, Oxford, is seeking an enthusiastic, ACAT accredited therapist and supervisor to support the Consultant CAT Psychotherapist for one day per week in co-ordinating and running the course and to undertake some very limited clinical work. Candidates need to have familiarity with and/or experience of delivering psychotherapy within the NHS. The course is hosted by Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, and credit-rated by Oxford Brookes University at Masters level. Although an organised and systematic approach to the delivery of high-quality training is important, flexibility and a passion for the transmission of CAT knowledge and skills is of the essence. Additional funding for clinical CAT work is likely to be available, which would offer interested candidates a more substantial post.
In return you will receive close supervision and support and an exciting opportunity to play an important role in the delivery of a well-established NHS-based CAT course.
