Job Title: Cognitive Analytic Therapist
Other information: to have undertaken a recognised qualification in one of the core mental health professions e.g. psychiatric nursing, psychology, medicine, social work and occupational therapy or to have other relevant experience and demonstrable competence to work in the mental health field in the NHS.
Minimum Requirement: ACAT Practitioner Level CAT Qualification and ACAT accredited Supervision Training.
Desirable: Advanced CAT Practitioner or ACAT Accredited Trainer - negotiable 2 to 5 Sessions depending on qualifications and experience.
Experience:
- Experience of assessing new referrals for CAT under supervision and of providing appropriate reports to referrers
- Experience of delivery of CAT under supervision, the range of this experience should include individual and group therapy with a broad range of cases
- A personal therapy experience of sufficient intensity, depth and duration to be able to work psychotherapeutically with difficult cases
