Mind, Body and Nature
Exploring dialogues in Cognitive Analytic Therapy through different settings and contexts; within, between and around
CAT Scotland are delighted to be hosting this whole day CPD event for CAT therapists, practitioners, trainees and those interested in finding out more about CAT and relational mental health. The day will draw on expertise within the CAT community from across the UK, and beyond, with sessions delivered both indoors and within the grounds of the Burrell Collection, inviting attendees to explore the boundaries of how and where we work.
Sessions will include;
- Nature Based CAT – an outdoor experiential session facilitated by Abi Tarran-Jones (www.theoutdoorpsychologist.com) and Nick Barnes
- The CAT Scotland AGM – including the award of a CAT Scotland Fellowship to Catherine Shea
- The Power of an Embodied Approach to CAT - with Caroline Greenwood Dower
- Reflections on Proximity and Power when working alongside communities - Rhona Brown.
This CPD event combines with the UK launch of the latest book in the Innovations CAT book series;
“Working Relationally with Young People - A Cognitive Analytic Approach to Connecting One to One, with Families and Across Communities” Edited by Lee Crothers and Nick Barnes.
